APG Softball Practice has been cancelled today -- Friday, July 28th due to the heat.
There will be practice Saturday, July 29th from 10 a.m. to 11:30. a.m. with a parent meeting to follow.

Armstrong-Potomac-Gifford Softball Starts tomorrow -- Monday, July 24th. Practice will be behind Gifford Grade School from 4:30-6 p.m. Softball is for 5th-8th grade. There will be a parent meeting on Friday, July 28th after practice. Student-athletes need a physical to participate. #WeAreAPG
Gifford Community Consolidated School District No. 188 is accepting applications to fill the vacancy of Board of Education member resulting from a Board member resignation. The individual selected will serve on the Board of Education from the date of appointment to April 2025. Applicants for the Board vacancy must meet the following Board qualifications: Be a United States Citizen, Be at least 18 years of age, Be a Resident of Illinois and the District for at least one year preceding the appointment, Be a registered voter, Not be a child sex offender Not hold another incompatible public office, Not have a prohibited interest in any contract with the District, Not be a school trustee, Not hold certain types of prohibited State or Federal Employment.

GGS Boys Basketball Camp will take place on July 24th-July 27th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This camp is for all boys entering 5th-8th grade this year.
